    StainrodforEngland.

Some are deluded that a ground that has a maximum of 18,000 can sustain itself and saviours like Mittal will come back to throw millions at it.

Point being, we've all wanted to be back in the Premiership for 15 years.

Now we are there, still doom and gloom. You couldn;t make it up.

      2001 WAsps shared QPR

      2002-2004 Fulham

Don't worry about it, we were far happier than.

Getting mullared at home by clubs like Colchester and Cardiff and getting beat by Vauxhall Motors in the FA Cup to sell out grounds. (yeah right your having a larf)
Getting to Play Off Finals, experiencing the loudest night Loftus Road has ever heard in the process.

      Hillsborough

Huge feel good feelings around Holloway's managerial tenure.

      Parades

Players and Directors who actually cared about the club

All in it together - OUR CAVE

Record season ticket sales. In the THIRD tier.

      The years?

      Oh yeah - 2001 - 2005

That's the trouble with selectively choosing facts. Someone else will come along and selectively choose other facts.

Russranger, if you think it was better back then you are deluded.
I felt more involved back then. That I was part of a Rangers family that had something to fight for and that we were all in this together.

Now, I just feel alienated and mugged off by a board who show no compassion, just contempt, for loyal fans and treat my club like a gentlemen's plaything.

Glad we are in The Premiership, obviously. But at what price? Just feel that we have sold our soul. I don't feel part of this great celebration which I am being told I'm meant to. And that feeling won't change until The Three Musketeers have left our club and given it to someone who genuinely cares.

        Just my opinion.

I think Sir Les did mate, but Petes knowledge is pretty extensive for this timeline

Both Les and Crouch made 5 figure donations. Other players (both then current and ex) also contributed.

Thats the real point and don't disagree. We all felt part, because we needed to be.

if anyone dipping hands in pockets to help the club or being part of events to generate cash, then we are going to.

Also in times of need fans will be there.

The Premiership is a different ball game altogether. It comes down to who can afford it. Thats not really the fault of the club but football in general

Crouch, Dichio, Les, Sunclair I believe made donations !

Our average in league one was far higher than you comment!

Wasps ground share was down to having the same owner but we did spend vast sums of money, still our record signing today!

A lot of your dates are very wrong as are a lot of your facts plus you have chosen to spin this by missing out on certain historical moments.

You can try to spin all of this but Our fan base historicly won't put up with ******** !

Hillsborough.. Yes One day, but fans still complaining up to the build up of the game, just read the old official messageboard forums

Huge feel good feelings around Holloway's managerial tenure. Really? Remember the moaners than, as now

Parades.. Absolutely and shameful the club did not do it this time around. Even a gesture like that, would have calmed everyone

Its not spin, everything I have highlighted is true. You say its wrong years, well point out what is a wrong year?

Record signings under Chris Wright, we suffered years after because of it. Not sure what your point is?

You anger is borne out mainly by the price of watching QPR and I can understand that. In fact anyone living abroad it effects them more than anyone, as you have to pay Matchday prices

                            Rubbish

The moans about Hillsborough were around ticketing and players performance, not around the management of the Club or the general feeling. Few moans about Holloway's tactics at Bristol City after Jackett left, but that was about the extent of it.

ST sales were higher in the promotion year than the first year back (confirmed by Sam Taylor at the time)

What does "had no money" bear any relevance to players and directors caring about the club?

The annoying thing for me is that we SHOULD be celebrating and bouncing off the walls in anticipation of the first day of the season.

                            We're not. Why is that?

Well, because BE and FB simply don't care about the club beyond the end of their noses, because we're being fleeced by them in a cumbersome "ghetto-esque" programme to sideline those who cannot afford a ticket, because NW is being undermined by FB and BE and because those mountainous ST price increases are clearly only being used to supplement the PL riches and not being re-invested in the playing side. It's similar to what Ridsdale did to Cardiff and in the end, he was run out of town.

FB and BE don't "get" football. It doesn't work like F1. I love F1 and the circus. It's part of the huge thrill at Silverstone and the Nurburgring but they are hugely different beasts. Stakeholders in football extend way way beyond sponsors and media rights. Traditions and history simply cannot be whitewashed. Colours and badges can't be changed overnight. I can't understand why they don't want to understand this.

A happy, engaged, fanbase will deliver more commercial benefits than one destined to tear itself apart limb from limb.

Pete, you numpty (not digging don't take it as one)

                                1) vauxhall motors was 2002
                                2) shittu and doudu got purchased in 2001!

The prices are a **** take but it won't have any impact on me coming back for games or not, it's the attitude towards the fans and the fact flavo being about destabilizes the club

Football is not a money making business, our gate income will be higher than

Blackburn, Swansea, Norwich, stoke , Bolton, wigan, west brom etc , our running cost should be on a par and our commercial income greater!

We are paying the price for the debt

                                1) inherited debt we know about that from previous days
                                2) increased debt is down to flavo messing around, managerial merry go round and lack of investment in youth , and average players on high wages, excessive loan signings.

We have debt we are a football club, our debt is extreme due to the circus!

If I am honest I don't think season ticket prices in all areas are too bad, walk in prices are a disgrace!

We can't reinvent the wheel boutique rubbish! We need a packed intimidating stadium stay up for 2 years then we become a club with major assets other than the post code! This is not rocket science
