I thought this was signed, sealed and delivered according to Pete.
The facre continues. We might as well not compete next season. We might as well stay in the Championship. Anything we do get will be a panic last minute dross of a buy. Pre season starts next week and we have no one.First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

If none are by Monday i think i may find myself starting to drift ever so slightly to the doom mongers corner....You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I think (as Ive heard a few others also mention) a cheeky bid for Maynard should be made. This is putely me making guesses, but I reckon if we made a £3.5mill bid for him, they may well reject and try for abit more, but the player himself may start kicking up a stink and requesting a move if he knows he can be playing PL footy. Because, lets face it, Bristol City arent gaining promotion anytime soon are they! You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
