Gillard played for England so not sure he could be considered underrated.

From that era, I'd go with Johnny Hollins. Best English player never to be capped?

Terrell Forbes, I thought was hugely underrated. Despite being a right back, his pace ensured that the errors and lack of pace made by Palmer, Shittu and Gnohere didn't adversely affect the defence. Could play a bit too. Don't think we really upgrade when he was allowed to leave.

With his gloves fresh from the club shop! What a ledge!
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Just finished cleaning the sinks and mopping the floors. Doing their toilets next. Maybe a bit of air freshener?

That's the closest I'm getting to the ladies at the moment.

Wilson, Bardsley, Maddix, Stejkal (who preferred saving with his legs), Penrice, Barker, Holloway, Falco, D. White, Meaker to throw out a few... some more underated than others but all class in their own ways!

ohh... and of course Robbie Steiner and Mikel Beck.....

For me has to be Clive Wilson great full back condidering he came as a midfielder,
best footballing L/B in the country unlucky not to get a game for England Pearce & Sansom in his way but thought he was a better FOOTBALLER than both.

Martyn Busby for me, I remember us playing in a dour game against Middlesboro & about 10 fans around me slated Busby everytime he touched the ball.

He scored after about 75-80 mins, shut the mugs up, as we won 1-0

He was one of the best players to come out of our youth system, but bad injuries put paid to his career.

Don Masson was very under-rated. He seemed to make everything tick even though others always got the plaudits.
