Pete, it's not rocket science that you FAIL to see the points that I have made on previous threads on this issue.

I am sure they are good people. I just want them to be transparent how they are to its members. You seem incapable of understanding this point.

    Stop defending the club!

The minutes of their meeting were a farce in my opinion.

It is ok to criticise the club when you want!

I would never put myself forward for an organisation that are a mouthpiece for the club.

I am independent and always will be.

I cannot for the life of me understand why the club won't meet the LSA for example. Over a thousand people have decided to pay a membership to be part of the LSA because they believe in what it stands for. People have not paid to be a part of the OSC and what they believe in.

The LSA just from its membership represent a good core of Rangers fans. Far more than that of the OSC.

The LSA are some of the most loyal fans that this club have.

"How many people replied to our request for new OSC Committee members? - NONE"

How many ever even knew of that request? I didn't.[/QUOTE]

Nor me or of an AGM but then again I dont buy a programme
Spot on. As far as I was aware there hadn't been an AGM this year, but now we find there was and it just that nobody knew...

The OSC has a forum which I would have thought would be the ideal place to link with their members and make them aware of things like the AGM and the elections. Now if as some have said the club cannot share contact details of members of the OSC with the OSC (God I had to reread that several times as it one of the most bizarre things I have ever written or read!!!) then surely the OSC forum should have been buzzing with news about these events, but if you care to look the last post was about 7 months ago. But instead we hear that details are printed in the programme, once again an example of the board only caring if we pay.....

It is all very bizarre and I really can't get my head around it.

Sorry if none of this makes sense, I may have to go and have a rest now.....

              Really?

Where was the question about the early bird?

Where was the demand for walkup prices?

Just look at who the club sent to the meeting. Somehow I don't think they are taking this seriously. And why, oh why, did it take 3 weeks to post the minutes?????

I am sure this is the truth, the problem lies in the fact that because of their dependance on the club the OSC are unable to make their feelings public about the lack of response as their only outlets are controlled by the club.
Then why won't they do a leaflet drop at our first few home games to get people signed up?

                  has the tennis started ?

what do you want to be signed up for? you are by nature of being a season ticket holder, a member of the OSC.

How many people went to the ska night/ punk night/ cant remeber what else night/ darts night/ quiz night how come you knew they existed?

Man I have such a headache now, im offski

                      Define "loyalty".

It is an utterly subjective and emotive term bandied around with no grounding. What about my old Dad in his 70's who travels up from Dorset every home game and many away games and spends x amount on merchandise but has no interest in fan groups. Is he not loyal? Does his voice and the voice of other members of the silent majority deserve not to be heard?

Membership of the LSA and going on a couple of charabancs to Derby and Middlesbrough and chugging a few beers with Vic n Spence doesn't necessarily define you as more loyal than a member of the OSC, QPR 1st or the Trust who choose to go to games quietly with family members etc.

                      None more loyal. Respect!

Linda just posted the following on Reports board.

Hi, I've only just registered here and was about to post but see I've been quoted already!

I have to say, while reading this thread that I'm impressed that some of you seem to sympathise with our plight. Some of your comments are spot on.

I have resigned my post as Secretary because I was as disappointed at the lack of support as you seem to be.

                        Thanks.

                        Good luck to her.

Completely agree and know what you mean..i know you know my cousins mate..and well..home and away for years them lads..and they dont get involved in any of the supporters groups and well, they hardly go near boards either. P is on here and A lurks on LFWs once in a blue moon but well, thats that.

2 of the loyalist QPR fans ive ever known.

Anyway, what is evident is the club have taken the **** out of the OSC and fair play, at least one of them aint taking that lying down! Say again, fair frigging play to Linda.
