    I think Rodney was the ultimate entertainer he was a fans player and loved us. As a tray boy he even snatched a bag of Smiths crisps outta my tray when I stopped at the Ellerslie road tunnel at the start of a game and ate em during the kickabout to the amusement of the fans.(that came outta me wages) !
    Stan the man produced the most skillful act I have ever seen,too long to explain on here.
    For me its Rod Stan then Sir Les. But having said that they had great team mates.

      I'm about the same age as ted and therefore also lucky enough to see the whole careers of messrs Marsh & Bowles, for me-Stan all day but you know what? If we never had Rodney Marsh there would have been no Stan Bowles at QPR I reckon.
      Both fantastic players to watch, scored and created loads of fantastic goals, but believe me, both were perfectly capable of achieving invisibility on the pitch in the odd match! (Not literally.............)

        well

        well its also a bit of when marsh was at qpr i was at a more impressionable age,and of course rodney was much bigger than stan,so for a little geezer like me rodney seemed a giant,so he looked like a irradescant god like creature who could run at whole defences,often beating three or four players
        on these incredible solo runs of magical skill

              I remember the original Les.Les Allen. He was the one who, in my opinion, first bought
              class football to the RRRR's.

                      but

                      but dont forget that we had les allen who could play some great football but we also had rodney marsh and two goalscoring wingers bnoth lazarus and roger morgan were goal scoring wingers and both scored in the league cup final.so the great qpr team had four goal scoring forwards and mike keen used
                      to get a few goals in addition to those players we also had mich leach who could just scrape double figues i think he got 11 goals one season
