Its not the £3.50 its the principle as I paid by debit card and they got my cash immediatly -

Yeah same here 3.50 added even though I paid with my debit card. I don't understand this as previously the card transaction fees were only for credit card payments as I understood shops/retailers pay visa/MasterCard a high service rate so they try to claw it back by charging those paying with credit cards an admin fee.
How is it now a debit card attracts such a fee?
Also the whole point of booking on the net is it saves the club having to pay extra such as staff costs.
I'm going to Ireland soon and if you rent a car via the net it's 150 quid but if you turn up at the airport with no pre booking the fee goes up to 240. This makes sense.
We just keep getting ripped off, sometimes I don't know why I go to work just keep getting shafted.Comment
