  • If you won the euro millions

Say 30 million, would you and how
Much would you give to the club to buy a player? It has to on a player! Not debt, 1 player.

I would buy out Adel's contract as a third party and rent him out abroad. Sorry, couldn't resist that.

That's fine greengrass. I would offer up to 3m and then want entry to the club as I please.

I would give them 5m , if Warnock wasn't in charge then I would want a say on what player they sign , if he is then I would trust him with the money . Also have a 50% sell on fee , just Incase I got careless with the other 25m !!

Why would I, with 30m in the bank, be any more inclined to spend it that way than the current board, who probably earn that much each year in interest on their fortunes?

I have been following my team home, away and abroad for over 40 years and can count on two hands how many games I ever missed, with season tickets, merchandise and all the other incidentals,(add family tickets and my son's s/t) and I dare not do the sums to work out how much it has cost me - and I know there are plenty more like me - that is supporting my team - whereas bankrolling a big name player's transfer fees and wages, well that is a different ball game. The love of the team becomes incidental if you get into the messy business of bankrolling the over-paid prima donnas that have been sysematically ruining the working man's game for years.

I'm 100% certain that by changing the relationship in that way is a sure fire way of falling out of love with the Club that affects my day to day existence - not being over-dramatic here by the way.

So again, I would continue to support my Club as a working class fan in the way I and my family have done for decades and not seek to ruin it by getting so personally involved.

Besides that, the wife just spent £29.9 m of the winnings so that just leaves enough to buy a programme for each home game next season
