Not good/ready for the premier league. A wise decision by him.

Leicester or West Ham will have offered more money.

Barry Fry said last week that CMS said no to a PL team, as they put a deadline on the deal.

I personally feel it's a sensible move for him. I think he may even feel it's a big step, and would rather see how he does at a promotion chasing NPC team before mixing it with the big boys. Either West Ham or Leicester will be a good test for him to see how he looks when he's compared to better players in his squad.

Yeah good shout Benny, i think the prem would wreck his confidence as a step too much!

It's a massive jump mate. Look at Beckford. A player who in my eyes is certainly a better player than CMS, and it took him a good few months to settle into Prem football.

Not sure that's entirely true. I haven't seen enough of him. But if it's a choice between him and bothroyd then a no brainer.

Agree with Benny on this.Maybe he has looked at other Div 1 players that have moved to premier league clubs, like Austin from Swindon, and it hasnt worked out.

Gone are the days when you can pluck out a Kevin Keegan and put him into a top flight team. The move can now destroy a player. If that ist he reason, then good move for him.

More worried of the fact that players turn us down for Championship clubs rather than missing out on CMS. If reports are true that is.

Danny Graham and CMS were the main signings for me this season, as they would have fitted in superbly. He will probally go to West Ham, pocket a better wage and massive promotion bonus and have his best season ever.

Paul, haven,t really seen much of CMS, so i cannot really comment, but i agree about Graham.

But in this day and age of football, don't you think, if you are going to buy players like Graham, you should also buy an experienced...well travelled striker as well? Just think there is too much pressure on young CCc players these days stepping up and making the grade ..
