Maybe boys from the city will be given tickets for games, Chelsea do the same thing.

Talking more b o l l o x I see do you ever get bored of these pointless rants.

The last time we were a proper family club was in the 90's and even back to our days in the Premier League. One look at our rising stats for football violence way before Briatore and Co got involved with the club will confirm this. The Ellerslie Road Stand stop being a family stand years ago when the vocal support took it over (a beer at HT there should also confirm this also what a geat place it is to take your kids).

Our hooligan element has got worse through the years and there is no denying this particualry during our days in League 1 - Not typical family club behaviour at Cardiff was it in the Play Off Final. Family clubs don't get attacked by fans of other club like in the way the British Queen did by Cardiff and Shepherds Bush Green got stormed by Plymouth.

Your trying to blame the board for something they have not created infact I would say we are now more of a family club than we were in the few years before Briatore and Co took over. We've won community awards of late, getting electronic turnstiles next season which will make the ground safer and I'm sure others on here can mention a few positive things that have taken place in recent times.

We will sell 6500 season tickets before the start of the season (the same as 2007/8) and I will bet our attendances will be barely any different from last season and if we get off to a good start all our 'diehard' fans will come crawling out of the woodwork like they usually do.

We will always be a family club. As for the fans, they will come back in numbers when we start playing attractive football and are flirting with promotion, as is the case with every fooball club. And they will be the die hard / sleeping fans that come back as I honestly don't see that many newbies coming along as we've missed that gravy boat thanks to our two neighbours!

                        some good pts w12
after yrs of qpr fans getting kickings, there was a change in that direction.

now we have enemies of "hard" clubs like millwall, sjoke and cardiff

i recall numerous families thru the promotion yr, many kids on the grass behind bok in qpr kits playing footy, not anymore...why? violence?
this was the height of the yth....and qpr aggro.
i rarely used ellerslie so have no idea of what goes on..x block always has some kids being chucked out, seen from SAR.

we did family tickets...as a family club..NOT ANY MORE...

for me reaching 6000 is not a success, as its a drop in sales..
charlton have 8000 and norwich somewhere like 15000 ( sold before the drop)

corporate is vital money for any club and i understand that...
but so are the families, the next generation...surely disastrous to lose them to say foolahm or chelsea?

During the promotion year tickets were cheaper and ollie rallied the fans and teams together. It was very much a "us vs. the world"
