how easy is it to ask others to spend all their money on rangers?

I get the feeling that BE doesn't do much at QPR without FB's consent...a 'gentleman's agreement' perhaps? Or something else? I could be wrong of course.
But if BE does make BIG decisions at the club, and if it is true he has spent a fortune buying houses for his daughter, surely that would indicate where his priorities lie, however much we might not like it.
Anyway, I wish they had sold to the Mittals, but there's nothing I can do about it.

Were the 75/76 team punching above it's weight, no, were we punching above our weight when we were top London club, no. You must have ambition otherwise you have nothing. We can be a much bigger club than what we are at the moment. to achieve this the club must invest in the playing side, in turn the fan base will increase. Who knows, we may even get a bigger stadium one day. It has to start somewhere, and now is the ideal time.

If I had billions in my bank account, no way would I be satisfied with Queen's Park Rangers just being in the premiership to make up the numbers, no way.
I will never understand our fabulously wealthy owners not wanting to give it their best shot, never. (If that's how our first season back in the premiership turns out)

Good question rfee and good debate everyone.
It's very easy to look back and say I would have done this and I would have done that but some of the decisions made were just a lack of common sense. I've read countless times that FB and BE don't do failure and having been promoted they would argue that they haven't failed but I believe they could have done it quicker, cheaper and without alienating the fans.
If they believed when they bought the club that Paladini had the knowledge required to make the club run successfully they should have just left him to it. If they didn't then they should have employed someone who did. The best way to protect any investment is to ensure that you have experts looking after your interests. If you aren't an expert yourself then employ someone who is. FB from the outset wanted to get involved in something he had very little knowledge of. Add in the fact that we had Gregory and Paladini probably both wanting a say and the saying too many cooks springs to mind.
Gregory had the most knowledge of the three and I still believe given the resources that De Canio received we would have survived. The biggest mistake I believe they made was to employ De Canio when an out of work Neil Warnock was available at the time (3 weeks after LDC was employed NW became Palace's boss). Hindsight is wonderful but would we really have signed the likes of Tomassi, De Carmine, Parejo, Pickens etc etc? I doubt it. We would have signed proven English players and probably have gone up a year or two earlier.
I would have looked at the balance sheet and applied some simple maths. Outgoings equals X income equals Y will bumping up the prices cover X or will it alienate the fans? Again get experts to do what they are best at. Don't employ yes men or ones with a previous history of alienating people. Employ people who can see that we are struggling to sell out and will come up with ways to improve sales.
I could ramble on forever but if I were a rich italian or OAP and I wanted to buy a football club but had no prior knowledge of how to run a successful football club then I'd find someone who has or at least research what I was doing and make decisions based on considered thought processes rather than whims. "Lets employ an Italian manager who doesn't know the league and fill the team with inexperienced players and pay inflated salaries to players who other teams are trying to ship out".

realisticaly doubt anybody would , we might want to own it but we wouldnt want to lose the money and bankroll what the club is losing every season,
another question what would you have done to increase turnover this season to accomadate the inc in salaries? we have all had an opinion on why they shouldnt raise prices so what would be your solution?
transfer strategy would you go and blow it all chasing a dream and if it goes wrong your liable to pay the salaries for next few years?
the reason im asking is that there has been a lot of debate on the problems but very little in terms of solution
so would be really good to get a list of solutions that dont involve billionaires throwing cash at it
