I think the whole Mittal fantasy is destabilising..
buying this club for them would be like any of us buying a holiday..
it is pocket money for them
they give more to charity every year than it would cost Lakshmi to buy it and give it to Amit for his birthday..
if they wanted it they could have it with loose change..
they are having their little bit of fun slumming down the Bush with qpr which is the equivalent of steptoes yard for them..
bottom line is they are not stepping up to the plate..
the realpolitik is that Bernie is in charge..
i dont know what his motive is..
he is 80 and he is minted..
so why does he have to run it on a tight budget..
a serial miser?
why is he bothered?
maybe it is to keep Flabio amused..
their relationship seems a bit like Midnight Cowboy and Ratso to me..
these people are billionaires because they are ruthless money making machines..
and we are mere pawns in their game..
i dont like it but we ARE in the Premiership..
although i have been nostalgic for the Championship recently
somehow it seems more real and honest
i understand it and like the passion
last season was magical
best for me since 1967
and i have got the hump like everybody about no new players and lack of communication..
the drama goes on as it always has done
and i console myself with the fact that these people do not lose..
