At the moment our only hope in the prem is probably Adel, and to get 10m for him, who the hell would replace him? and if we was to try buy a replacement for 10m (well 6m after spurs take their piece of the pie) no one would come close.

Who could we realisticaly sign to replace Adel? Joe Cole maybe but even he is unrealistic and not as good IMO.

Was never going to stay and not particularly wanted by the management, hence the interest in Bullard who will play the same position. Warnock pandered to his needs as he could and did get us out the Championship but it will be very different in the Prem. Very over rated by so many on here, in fact see the article by Dave Mc which pretty much explains how this so called demand for Tarrabt is in his head.

Been saying the same for several months many on here think he is world class in the football world the opinion is very very different.

whilst i have my reservations about Adels ability to hold it down and produce in the prem ,TalkSports opinion is not exactly one i would take much notice of. I enjoy listening to it but most of the time they talk a load of ******** to fill the hours.

Want him to have half a season in the prem, show the world what he can do, go to a big spanish team for 18+ mil and get us to mid table, we'll replace him with a 6 or 7 mill player and we'll be safe. all naive probably but theres a vision and idea that works for everyone.

In case you hadn't noticed Joe Cole is neither an icon or holding world beater status. He is a has been that has been given enough money not to put in a shift anymore.

I have said for months Adel will go in the Summer -I can't understand for a minute why anyone on here thought otherwsie.

We should wish him well.

The problem is that we will struggle to replace his creativity and won't be able to do it for 10 million, not that we would ever spend that on 1 player.

We will end up with another grafter and be in the bottom 4 all season because we can't score goals.
