Sorry for the cut and paste, but I should have posted in this thread...

The simple fact is, no one knows our actual budget, nor exatcly who Neil wants. No one knows enough to place as facts. Jeffro may have passed on some information, and rightly so. I'd have done the same, but it does not mean that this information is correct, no matter how much some would love it to be true, just to have reason to moan more.

I am still waiting to see what happens with regards to takeovers, transfers and anything else which relates to the club until it is official.

Hasn't anyone learned from recents facts and nailed on/100% done deals etc? If I'm being honest, I sincerely doubt that with the money you get from staying in the Prem and all the other add ons, that the owners, whoever they may be would be happy to risk our Prem status by being tight.

If it's the Mittal's, they'll surely back Neil. If it's T&C, I think they'll do the same. Reason for the latter is because if rumours are to be true and they actually want a big name Italian manager to come in, then they need to show their ambition now. If they fail to do this, why would any manager worth his salt want to come to a club where he sees the owners as tight, dictating w@nkers?

Ok, this is very much on the fence right now, but logically it wouldn't make sense financially, both long and short-term. I'm not for a minute thinking they'll spend a fortune, but £10-15m is enough to ensure this if we buy wisely.

    Breathe!!!
    Your mum would love me...

Did you think prices were going to Stay the same? Walk up prices are way to high, they know they can make money easily, no disrespect but I'm sure their not to bothered abou a few loyal fans not rocking up anymore. Who pays the wages for the youth team, reserves, womens lot, first team wages. We certainly are not going to be bank rolled. I would hate to see all our promotion money spent on an overpaid player, hopefully they have plans for it to keep us stable for the long term. Prices are to high I agree, but It is what it is! Like it or lump it, they will sell. Sorry mate

Lol - I certainly wouldn't class myself as an intelligent bloke, I don't for one minute expect the Mittals to pay the rumoured value put on the club by Ecclestone! I don't expect anybody to pay that value, as I've said before you could buy far more established premier league clubs with better squads and infrastructure with stadia and training facilities in place.

I heard from a source last night that under the circus we will still spend big and that 25k per week cap is ridiculous as parejo and Watson were on more than that, I was also told that this is all about Flavio lording it up at old trafford, eastlands, the emirates and the bridge, I kind of understand this but it doesnt make full sense as Ecclestone wouldn't in my eyes let this be about flavios ego. He would want a return on investment, this is why I think he will sell and sell soon. In my eyes value drops unless we sign some decent players and they cost money !!

        Let's see.

No, I didn't think they would stay the same price, and I don't think all the ST price rises are unreasonable. But it seems the hike in the price of other (single match) tickets is just out of order. Around 95% unless the club is lying about the 'saving' made by buying a season. I daresay you're right. There will indeed be crowds of 18,000+ every game, including against the glamour sides like Wolves, Wigan, Norwich, Blackburn etc. Even midweek. With thousands of people paying £60 and up to watch such cracking entertainment. I'm sure dads will be bringing all their kids and sucking up the cost even when their wages in real terms are going down month on month. Good for those heroically loyal true supporters who will take anything the club dishes out. As you say: lump it or like it. If I watch QPR at all, I think it'll be on free, illegal streaming online.

Let's hope you get to some games, maybe our only season in the prem

I think we should sign Craig Mackail Smith and be deducted 15 points.

I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
