Myself as well. May I suggest something I was taught years ago. Start the presentation off with a P.O.S.T. This is where you outline the Purpose, Outcome, Structure and Timings of the presentation. I find it helps focus the person presenting as well as having you audience at no doubt of what everything is all about.

The first thing I was ever taught regarding presentations was to never reply on Powerpoint always working and to have a back up plan

Glad I heeded the advice as I would have been completely stumped in front of 250 people if I had not taken it once

I thought he had to go through the OSC only though?

happy to give as much advice about presentations as required - done them for years.

as Scott alluded to, the key to a presentation is tell then what you're going to tell them, tell them, tell them what you told them.

powerpoint should be used for key points, and they should be concise, people should not be reading sentences off a presentation...

somehow i reckon that WeAre was a semi-professional powepointer as well back in the day though...

I have presented to and dealt with some large corporate companies all the way down to "Fred in his shed", and have always found that if people buy into you as a person then you are halfway there and have the attention.
A personality goes a long way to capturing the the audience that you are presenting to..

I also want this to stay private as if it got out, then I feel it could make a mockery of this site. I am constructing a report that will benefit us all that use this board. That is all.
