Without wishing to sound overly pedantic, the Black Death hit London in 1348; maybe the team decimation of 1066 occurred at the Battle of Stamford Bridge?

What we call the Great Plague hit London in 1665; what we know as the Black Death arrived in 1348. But as he called it the 'Black Plague either could be right... although actually it was all the continuation of the same thing.
