We are not exactly an attractive option at the moment. We havent signed anyone this pre-season, our star player apparently wants out, we cant even sell out our ST allocation of 12,000, our owners want to do EVERYTHING on the cheap(except match-day tix of course) and our manager will be sacked the miute we take a hiding of someone.

I agree mate. I think the next week will be a big crosroad for us, 1 of the options you just mention will need to obviously be taken and that will set us up with what to expect for next season. Here's hoping for the former eh!
