Please can you be more specific on HOW you think they do a good job?

OSC do a good job, just like the LSA.

I also find it insulting that qpr-reports site are asking so many questions. They seem to want to know everything that goes on at the club and probably know about 20%. You cannot tell me that the main istigator of all this stirring who never goes to QPR matches should be trying to now start another war within the fan base. It doesn't matter to me if you go to games or not, but it does when you try starting to poke your nose into stuff, that has no bearing your support of the club.

Season tickets and members should be asking the questions as by definition they are members of the OSC. They are not an association for keyboard warriors
The problem here is accountability and transparency. You have mentioned before that the OSC does a good job and I have no reason to disbelieve that. What several people on here seem to be asking is what this 'good job' is exactly and just who the people are that are doing it. Is that really too much to ask?

And as the club seem to have made it clear that they will only communicate with the OSC, just how are non-members (i.e. the majority of QPR fans) able to get their views heard, other than through the auspices of the OSC?

Whether you like (or agree with) the people asking the questions or not, they have every right to ask questions of the club, so I am struggling to see why you find this insulting. And by launching into a slagging off of Report's site (even if it is pisspoor) perfectly illustrates why we don't have a united fan base.

Who is this main instigator that never goes to matches? Please forgive my ignorance.

Maybe the OSC do a fantastic job, but if they do, we don't know it! As far as i can tell, they just run the official coach?

They raise money for Football In The Community

          Run Official Coaches for Supporters

          Liase with the club,

          Run events for QPR fans

As a season ticket holder you are a member of the OSC.

Don't see why the OSC should be attacked for being official. We have the LSA which has traditionally brought up the more controversial areas that need discussing with the club.

            2touch,

I get confused with all different usernames across boards.

I was not actually attacking you if that helps

              Return of the Swakely.

I apologise if you visit reports site but its certainly not under the username you use here, so apologies if I am slightly confused.

The point being the OSC have been running for years and I don't see the obsession with them this summer. They are a group that serve season ticket holders.

Many on here wish to be associated by the LSA, QPR1st and others. Its each individual fans choice.

                Pete, you're not getting it.

If you are a committee you have to be ELECTED. There has been no vote from the members for these people. They have given themselves a job. If they are going to represent its members it has to be accountable and transparent of which it's not.

The LSA is an elected body. It only had it's AGM at the Leeds game. They are accountable and are transparent.

The OSC might do some good things but they have to do things that the members have voted them in to do.

Being a member I want them to do certain things, but I have never been asked.

So it's no surprise to see one of its unelected committee members win the club's supporter of the year...........whole thing stinks.

Over a thousand people have paid to be a member of the LSA. They are a strong voice. The OSC you join automatically because you are one if you are a season ticket holder.

I am a season ticket holder, but I choose to pay and be a member of the LSA because I feel they represent me better in issues with the club because they are independent. The OSC are not!

                  Do you understand now????????

Just checking. Thanks for clarifying. Who are you referring to though?

I don't think that the OSC being reformed should become the main agenda item at the EGM when it is eventually sorted. It does need reform, nobody has suggested it before as relations between the club and the fans were reasonable. Now the OSC needs to grow some teeth, and this can't happen if the commitee actively appointing themselves. I don't see why any fan would be against this?

I wasn't actually defending Report's site (the "pisspoor reference kind of gives that away), merely their right to express their opinions. And why are you confused by my username? I guess you are insinuating that I post there. Oh well.

I was within the first 100 that joined the LSA, so I gladly associate myself with them. I think the 'obsession' rises from the belief that the OSC is the only fans group that the club will meet anymore. Fair play to the OSC if they only represent season-ticket holders. However that leaves a vast swathe of fans without any form of 'official' communication with the club. That was my point.

It also represents members. I think this is fair. If you are not a member of the club, how can you expect a say (no matter how small) in how it is run?

Well members is quite a different matter, thanks for that 2touch. And of course I agree on that and as a result I now realise that I am a member of the OSC so hoorah!

Also, apologies to qblockpete, if the people demanding answers on QPR Report are not members or ST holders. I know there are rivalries between boards and I wasn't trying to stir it, just attempt to defend everyone's right to a voice. I will promise to do my research next time before wading in.

Reality is the club don't really see anyone.

We all got together a couple of years ago with all the groups/messageboards as one, problem is nothing much was achieved.

I'm pretty sure no one group met with the club for a meeting last season

                              No worries on that.

If you are a season ticket holder or member you have every right to ask questions.

Its the ones that are not and never will be, I have problems with.

                              Hope that clears that up
