The future of England striker Jay Bothroyd is yet to be decided despite reports he is set to sign for Queens Park Rangers, according to his agent.
Bothroyd is out of contract at the end of June and would be available on a free transfer for Neil Warnock's QPR, who won the Championship last season to gain promotion to the Premier League, but the Hoops face competition from Everton, Newcastle and Sunderland.
Cardiff City striker Bothroyd scored 18 league goals last term but opted not renew his contract with the Bluebirds after they failed to win promotion to the top flight.
The 28-year-old made his England debut in a friendly against France last season and is eager to secure a move to the Premier League after taking a short summer break.
"Jay has just come back from holiday. It's an exciting time for him because he has spent three years turning his life around," agent Sky Andrew has told talkSPORT.
"He's in a good position, he's a Bosman [free transfer]. There's been quite a lot of interest and now he is back I'm actually just going to sit down with him and try and decide what is the best route to go down."
