  • Style of play?

What do we all think Neil will do for next season?

At the moment with the current squad, if we try to play football certain teams will destroy us at it. Unless we buy some class ball players, will there be any point trying to play football against certain teams?

If we was to do the old get into them, rough them up, clipping long balls into the channel, would you be happy with it?

We have Faurlin, and Adel if he stays, but other then that do we have any other ball players? Adel could leave, and faurlin aint going to pick teams apart with passes by himself.

A interesting one to see how we approach the prem. With ticket prices as they are can you imagine the likes of Hall Ramage etc just hitting hopeless 60 yard hoofs into the channels?

IMO the football we played this season was the perfect mix, we didn't try and play it out from the back (as shown under Magilton it can backfire horrible) and we used the target man well, we also didnt go completely direct and miss the midfield out. We had good ball players in Faurlin + Adel and we used width well. IMO we need to be more direct next season but try and get the ball down in the final third to allow our attacking 4 to get shots away. If we do play more direct football and we stay up because of it, of course I'll be happy.

        Its interesting thats for sure.
Maybe we will get an inkling when, or if, we start bringing players in.

NW will pick a TEAM that will do the best to get a result , lets not forget we are an half decent side already, 4/5 additions will put us out of trouble, so try to stay cool ,and see what occurs

I reckon NW will set us up to be a hard-to-beat team, and I can see us doing quite well away from home nicking the odd goal on the break. But unless we sign at least ONE Prem-experienced striker, I fear we won't score enough goals to get enough points for survival. I don't think he will "do a Blackpool" and attack, not with the existing squad anyway.

Warnock will leave before 13 August. That' what I think he will do.
