If I get the Little Englanders right, if a player is from the lower leagues in England that's fine because they are salt of the earth battlers full of promise just waiting for their chance; but if they come from the division below in Spain and are top scorer they are failures.
Probably like every other person on this thread I know very little about him. Therefore I am very happy to rely on Warno's judgement, but as Robsonino, Gee, Quaz and others have implied, given the technical quality of so many Spanish players he sounds like a more skillful version of Danny Graham - which would do me just fine...

I respect Warnocks opinion, if he thinks he's good enough, thats good enough for me.

Could b a good signing from what i saw on youtube has a very good eye 4 goal and his stats seem pretty good if u ask me.
One problem is u ppl saying y hasnt he made it into the bigger teams with his goal scoring record, and i think ur right in what u say plus u have 2 look he is 29 yrs old and surely with that goalscoring record he should b playing 4 a bigger team but i would b happy if he signed 4 us.
In NW we trust(if indeed it is a player he has sounded out)
And if i remember rightly he did say he had 3 foreign players on his list so he could b 1 of the 3

As has been explained countless times on this thread, if he played for a big club we wouldnt have a hope of getting him - so what is your point? He isn't Messi, you've worked it out, congratulations. But now for the bad news: we aren't going to be signing Messi or anyone even a quarter as good. Why is that so hard to take on board?

That's amazing, a 95 word sentence before a full stop.

I think a few are just openly expressing their misplaced fear that another Ledesma/Alberti/Di Carmine/Tommassi may turn up and not go away again.
