What we have had though is everything themodfather said, but the most important points are we have had 2 1/2 wasted years, ripped the fan base to pieces with massive price rises, killed the acoustics of W12 by introducing top, middle and bottom price ranges.

Fans and atmosphere (the 12th man) are the two things needed most to help the players on the pith and our saviors have ****ed both up.

If you are going down that form of logic, how do you know that whoever owned the club might not have charged fans considerably more than the present administration and not invested anything like the money in the squad that the current lot have.

Maybe the team under Gregory that was destined for administration would have turned things round.

Personally, the thing that has killed the atmosphere most at QPR is negative whinging fans who that millions are not spent on a never ending stream of new players while objecting to paying any price increase at all.

'small fanbase, so prices must rise' - sorry, that's poor economics.
Unless you're hapy to see real fans priced out & replaced by glory hunters. Good for the books, but WE lose OUR club.
As for 'too much negativity' - what else do you expect?? Big price rises & team not strengthened yet - but paladini is meddling again with geriatric eyeties. We;ll go straight back down at this rate

          Stanmash,

See it for what it is, the fans understand we aren't going to splash millions, they want to see run properly from top to bottom, no Flavio, a youth academy structure with players coming through every year, a manager that believes he is supported through out the club, good communication with the fans. Vale for money on the ticket front!!

Do you think this is all happening??

Most are rightly aprehensive, you can be blinkered but Flavio is a cancer to the club our club we love!

Without Amit we feel weaker not financially but the guy knew how to work between the club and fans he brought stability. He brought vision, he cared! He sold warnock the club and is now gone because what he sold he believed in only to be let down from the dynamic Duo!

The debt is huge because the hireacy meddled with the team paying unnecessary wages on average players, stupid amounts on compensation for managers that werent allowed to pick the team and buy the players. First time we let a manager do what he wants we get promoted instead of all the fooling around !

Of course we would have been in debt but nowhere near the extent we are now so wouldn't have had to charge stupid prices to pay for the mistakes of interfearance!

What has Fulham's debt got to do with our situation? They spent big we can't be accused of that but that's not the argument here

Good points there and also the points raised re: compensation to Dowie Sousa, Magilton, their staff, are valid. They could have appointed Warnock insterad of De Canio (he was free at the time) could even have seen QPR make the players in the 2007/8 season ahead of Hull who went up having only been a few points better off when QPR beat them in LDC's 1st game.

So who knows what would have happened. The level of debts QPR now have are down to their mis management. Although, to be fair, QPR would only have been able to appoint him and let him bring the players in as a result of 'Our Saviours' so they would deserve some credit.

Agree but in feb 2010 the club was in the worst state since admin - sinking with huge wages, no passion, no direction, no desire!

Amit and Warnock gave us the dream it soon became reality and the other 2 got back involved as they smelt a return on the investment!

some good debate....we all care for qpr
we've gone from one extreme to the other and for myself i am wary of going back into the doldrums....i'd accept being a west brom, up and down regularly, a title / promotion every 2-3 yrs.....
i fear massive, crippling debts with our "small fanbase" and digging ahole we can't get out of...fulham is one example, the day they go down, is the day they are really screwed.
but how small is our fanbase with 70% rises in a few years?
                              why punish/exclude the die hards??
cash will flow thru corporate, tv and sponsorship
qprfc don't rely on gates do they!?
i am reluctant to say it, but ali russell turned the revenue around with the corporate stuff, this brings in huge monies but the real fans have been cast aside.

£90m the prem lge is worth over a few yrs....prices could have been raised but not to the high levels they are now, because we have that sponsorship,tv and corporate cash coming in. wages have to go up if we are to be competitive and have a glimmer of a chance of staying up, history shows newly promoted teams can start well but fall dramatically after xmas (bpool and hull come to mind) .
it's very hard to swallow, bern buying £150m approx of homes for his daughters when qpr prices are at their highest EVER! ( not saying any money comes from qpr towards this, he's a wealthy man) whatever you believe of the bern/flav control
THEY DON'T CARE FOR FANS and i doubt how much heart they have for qpr ( or else why the talk of bern wants out and £100m) , mr mittal may not be 100% ready and may never have opened the cheque book but i think at least amit/ishan listened to fans and tried to keep some communication open.

                                Some good stuff there Luke,

The time to cash in on QPR is now, i don't believe they care or want the club. They can walk away now any further stay is going to cost them. Whilst there is time for owners to come in and back the manager.

To give us a realistic chance of staying up a minimum 10m plus needs to be spent (wages
and signings this will come off the balance sheet. If they don't spend the club will be more favorable to drop again impacting our sale price.

If they don't sell the club in the next 2 weeks I feel either 1 or 2 scenarios

                                1) there are no real potential buyers
                                2) this is one huge ego trip for Flavio, sky tv, bright lights a chance for him to attention seek on the cameras which he loves the most.

Time will tell, any long term investor needs to address the following

                                1) bring in 5 minimum proven premiership players
                                2) create stability with Warnock
                                3) work with Warnock to try find a solution if Adel leaves in January or before
                                4) look at the costly new exercise of a new ground.

Only number 1 I think the current board can do and this will bevat a cost to them. Not quite sure on their agenda time will tell as u said
