  • Adel up to his old tricks...

I love watching the bloke play but the way he carries on is there really very much difference to a woman hanging around street corners in a micro-mini offering her favours for a bag of Quavers....?

QPR midfielder Adel Taarabt - 'I'd be very tempted to join Chelsea if I could play 20 games a season'
22-year-old admits he has received offers from big Premier League clubs but wants to play week in week out at Loftus Road rather than sit on the bench at a top four side

Find the best odds and bet on the Premier League. Adel Taarabt has declared he would like a move to one of the big four in the Premier League but admits he would prefer to play every game for QPR than sit on the bench at Chelsea.

The midfielder was instrumental in QPR’s promotion to the Premier League and was named Championship Player of the Year for his outstanding match winning performances.

His fine form has reportedly led to interest from some of the country's biggest clubs and Taarabt told Football365.fr: “I like the London clubs. I do not hide my like for Chelsea.

“I would prefer to play regularly at QPR to being on the bench for a season at Chelsea. Now, if they told me I'd play 20 games per season, I think I'd be very tempted.”

Taarabt was asked if he would like a move to a big club in England, and if there had been any contact with another club.

He replied: “It's currently what I'm trying to achieve. Today, I have two year contract with QPR.

"Yes, there is contact but I cannot say more, as you can imagine.”

The midfielder also spoke about a move to Arsenal to join fellow Moroccan Marouane Chamakh.

“The idea is very appealing. Especially since there is also Samir Nasri, who I know very well. But after that, there is a real possibility of playing the minimum.”

The 22-year-old scored 18 goals in 44 games last season and Rangers will be hoping to stand a good chance of surviving next season if he is to stay at the club.

to be fair to him as a pro footy player playing for QPR (not supporting them), if chelsea said you would get 20games with them, playing in the champions league, fighting for the prem title, probably on triple the money then at QPR.......course you would be interested in a move.

Once again, would you please just calm down.

It was a humourous comment, not intended as derogatory or with any racist overtures.

I appreciate you are from afar, but you would be better off not commenting, if you are unable to grasp when somebody is just joking.
