At an absolute minimum we need 2 centre backs (one with pace) left back, right back, defensive midfielder, box to box midfielder 1 x winger if routledge does not sign and 2 centre forwards of which at least one can hold the ball up and one can score goals, preferably two that can do both. Without that we have no chance of staying up.

Ok, look at the options:

1. Big name signing for 5-10 mill - Our budget is apparently less than £10 million, and we need quite a few players, so this wont happen
2. Or 4 2.5mill - We need more than four players and our owners wont spend £10 million + a lot of wages and signing on fees
2. Or 2 5mill signings - We need more than 2 players so we wont blow our budget on two players.

2. is most likely but none of those are realistic IMO.
