  • Rowlands to Charlton?

CHARLTON Athletic are weighing up a move for QPR midfielder Martin Rowlands.

The 32-year-old is surplus to requirements at Loftus Road, having made just four appearances last season.

Rowlands was shipped out on loan to Millwall, but failed to make a single start during his one-month spell at the Den.

However, League One Charlton are keen on the Irishman, who has a year remaining on his contract in west London.

Fulham is a typically diverse London area with something for everyone - from the hustle and bustle of North End Road Market, to the refined chicness of the iconic Fulham Road. It boasts superb pubs and restaurants, two Premier League football clubs and excellent transport links.

always loved Rowley and was gutted he didnt get a crack last year BUT if what i read on here is true what he said to certain fans at the POTY party then good riddance to him. Got no time for any players that dont respect the fans that spend a hell alot of their hard earned money to follow the team around the country.

Says a lot for Warno's achievement getting us promoted last season when our squad players (Rowly, the useless striker from Sheff Utd etc) are being courted by League One clubs. Wd have thought that would be the level of Vine and Agyman too, with Hulse maybe holding out for a club like Barnsley.

Was rude to a few fans. Maybe to much source and bit frustrated. Would Love to see him have a good few years elsewhere. I'm really surprised championship clubs arnt after him

was something along the lines of only sticking around for promotion bonus and general rudeness to fans that attended. Like I so, wasnt there myself so only hear'say, but if true thats totally unacceptable.

Goodbye Martin. I reckon he could be useful in Division 1. Always overrated.

rowly seemed to think being around better players made him better somehow

i hope his r's career mirrors what he's paid and how he's rated by some....

Also think the (alleged) instance of him going above Warno's head to complain he wasn't getting game time said it all about how wrong the running of the club was pre-warno.

On the basis we are being linked with players from Italy, it looks like we could be going back to the dark days pre Warnock. This will be confirmed when Flavio calls, texts or hands NW a piece of paper with a players name or the team on, which he will, its just a case of when.
