Oh and ps: the Parejo comparison just doesn't hold water - this guy is about 31 from memory and is an established international, not some rookie. You may as well say there is no point signing Kaka because he hasn't proved himself in England.

      Or even a Rowan Vine

Yes, although if Cook is out and Tarabt is unlikely I thought Vine might be deployed out on the left. If Dex goes and Agyman is a bit rubbish and Helguson injury prone we need another striker in addition.

We are meant to be after Rose from Spuds to replace Cook, so I hope to see Vine play up front. I think he would do very well with someone like Bogdani, a better version of Pat. With a fit Buz coming forward and speed on both wings we SHOULD score goals.

I hope you are right Kingo although neither Vine or Bogdani have been very prolific in their careers, talented players tho both are. Think we badly need a "fox in the box".

Also if Rose is only 18, is he the answer? He might turn out to be brilliant but don't think we can rely on him.

spot on mate, he is an adebloa type player but with two good feet, would be a great target man if we insist on having this type of the player in the squad

It's defo Bogdani, but I don't think he'll be as good as people think.

A pedant writes. Pete, you do know that Chievo isn't a place. Your contact would surely be in Verona, or more likely, Solihull ;)

Be the equivalent of saying 'your contact in Raith'!

                    Pedantry over.

                    Not another Di Carmine please!

Bogdani would be a good shout though.

My hunch is that the 'fox in the box' that we are looking at is DJ Campbell, plus I also think we will step up our plans for Cox if Dex goes.

I liked the look of Bogdani, could be a good signing!
                              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                              And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Bogdani will be turd if we sign him. Not because he's foreign (thats just a stupid argument).
