In fairness to Alberico and even Gianni (if they are different) he is really just the messenger. I'm no Paladini poodle but its pretty clear that the board pulled the rug from under Warno and Paladini signing anyone. I'm all for attacking him when he messes up but a bit pointless to have a go at him about all of this imo, if only because it blurs the blame, and the real culprits get away with the mismanagement of our club.

He came on here and said 3 of 4 have signed!! What does he expect? Pete get the same if not worse from some posters.

Well puncheon at the moment as a bid has been placed. However when there is competition for a player we usually balls it up. I would prefer routs as would everyone and is still a possibility. Cmparing premiership records though JP scored 5 goals in 11 games for Blackpool which I believe to be 5 more that wr has ever scored in the prem in his whole career. So there are some positives to signing JP. He has a long time left on his contract and the bid tabled would probably be around the £500k Mark at a rough approximation. Routledge would probably be £1.5m to 2m.
