Defo worth a shout and I could see it happening due to two key words

                  FREE, and, TRANSFER.

Be lovely if he did sign and then tore the Prem up.... would have to have a sneaky peek at the sheep worriers boards every now and then if it did happen!

However, what counts against this deal progressing is that Celtic, Everton etc all far bigger clubs than us. Also, not too sure if Jay is on the books of BASE Soccer, doesn't seem to have an Italian sounding name and is the right side of 47 years old.... does he fit the Briatore mould? MMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

Great news. And he hasn't got a club so give him a big signing on bonus should help
                      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Far more ability compared to dexter blackstock, I can't believe u put both players in the same sentence
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Last season we played 1 up front - don't see it changing much this season especially if Tarabt stays - Be a good freebie signing

Sorry - don't rate him at all. I haven't seen him in an england shirt for a while? funny that. Plus anyone who puts a picture of himself like that up on twitter is a knob. Desperado stakes are creeping in here.

18 goals in NPC last season, strong, target player - perfect for our current formation.

Don't think anyone is saying he is Rooney or Defoe but when was the last time we had a current England international at Loftus Rd: Terry Fenwick? At the level of player we are looking at he would be a good signing. Would imo also need a nippy striker as well (DJ Campbell type, Dos Santos in my dreams) but would be a great addition to the strike force.

One word of caution: wouldn't get too taken in by the "free" tag. He'll be looking at a million and a half a year wages plus a hefty signing on fee to make up for the fact he's "free" so would still represent a significant outlay, particularly if the likes of Everton are bumping up the price.
