Fulham are to beat Sunderland for the signature of DJ Campbell for £1.25m (we not even mentioned). Reportedly we are prepared to pay Fulham £3m for Johnson. That would leave Fulham £1.75m in the clear plus probably saving some wages and giving them probably a better, younger player.

Not sure it would be such a good deal for us though...

I'm actually a big DJ Campbell fan and he loves rangers.

Johnson for me is a gamble. Good player on his day but with to many injury's I can't see 3m being value for money. I'd also be suprised if we were to bid that kind of money.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Maybe we should get Dave's view on this one?

I said all this last week.

£3m for a player who struggles to stay fit or a player half the price that will score more goals is more hungry & is a fan of the club!!

          Same ol Rangers

Ric the bloke is a rangers nut. When I spoke to him he couldn't stop talking about rangers when I said I was a fan. If he had a chance to join I believe he would. He was gutted when we previously went in for him and a change of managers made the deal fall through. Good honest lad that can score goals and get in the right positions. 1.25 fulham r getting a bargain imo

Dj was here as a kid, played under wads youth team.. Called him "goldenballs".
Unfortunately attitude meant he went non league, but fair play to him, he has got his life back together and is now a top premiership footballer.

              Yeading legend!!

I played against him in a friendly Jeffro. Lively striker although he didn't score ;)

At the end of the day its up to the player where he goes .

If we have bid say a million for him against Foolhams 1.25 m and offered say £ 20 k against Foolhams £ £ 25 k in wages ..... If he was a fan and 'loved' us as much as he portrays when he meets you then he would come here !!

Like most of us on here ...If you had the opportunity to play for the team you 'adore ' are you telling me the difference between £ 20k and £ £25 k would be enough to play for one of our rivals !!!!

                            Campbell £1.25M or Johnson £3M?

Campbell for me and spend the extra on another player.
