    E-mails from Ian Taylor concerning C&P

    There has been some talk from Eastcote QPR on this site concerning other sites and C&P.

    Now I think most will agree that a lot of stuff on most sites (including this one) starts off with stuff found on other sites.

    So I just wondered has anyone else (apart from myself and James) ever had a discussion with the club concerning the ramifications of copying and pasting the official sites contents....
    A message to the other Premier League clubs when they visit Loftus Road.....

          If you actually read the post I think you will find that I didn't say that this site copied and pasted from the offy.

                I don't think I have ever read anything about this on other sites (well apart from on Scotts posh bed site, and as usual that was started by James).

                Just wanted to know what James' beef with other sites is as I think that at the moment it is very important that the fanbase be united and we could probably do without this ****......

                      yeah i never really intended to post on it to be honest..just wanted something "different" after MYU ****ed me off on this place. And then my "situ" happened and never had a chance...just left it to Funky to do what he wants with to be honest

                        Once something appears on a public www sites, in print on tv or radio, it is in then classed as being in the public domain and you can do what you want with the info, apart from passing it off as your own work. People might get precious about the subject but that's life.

                          afraid thats completely wrong mate

                          could give you hundreds of examples but a simple footy related one is it is illegal to put up the premier league fixtures without a license.

                              To be honest I keep forgetting about the 1882 site and only post here and the QPR Report site so rarely visit there but Funky seems to be doing a good job there and it appears to have a lot more then four posters so good luck to him and the posters on there
