Mass Exodus from Platinum Area

Just phoned up the BO, enquiring about the number of fans putting themsleves on the list for first dibs of gold seats. Pretty much confirmed what I heard the other day that no one is renewing in this area due to the clubs attempts to price us out.

Then the daft bint on the phone tried to tell me its due to the loss of the Paltinum Bar at which point she was subjected to a minor rant from myself in which she was put straight.

The only benefits I could see were 150 loyalty points instead of 120, free QPR Player and the free membership upgrade which is worth £40 which entitles me on first priority to get at least one matchday ticket.

Sat there once last season, and I've never heard so many moans and groans. We beat Sheff Utd 3-0, and you'd have thought they'd spanked us.

Tommy Smith isn't flavour of the month in that area, either. Apparently he's 'useless' and 'the weak link' in our side.

Now reserved a decent seat in gold (not far away) and will go back up to the ground after the 30th to see what is available from non-renewals in gold.

Yep, I find Smith technically a good player, but he tends to leave us exposed in dangerous areas when we get hit on the counter attack.....hence the weak link comment, if it were me.

I never realised you could reserve now, don't you have to pay before the end of the month for that?

Apparently no - I'm going to pay this week but the guy I sat next to in platters isn't paying until the end of the month. I think it's basically because they want us out of platters so our 'renewal' is for these gold seats rather than our old ones now so no payment is needed until the 30th. He went to LR last week.

I'll confirm this though, but if you fancy moving as well then it might be an idea to look now at some seats.
