Wow what a touch

Only been back from the old holiday about 10 minutes and started opening the post to find a nice tax refund for £870

Even better some may recall I was hit with a £3200 tax demand a few weeks ago and this has also been cancelled as they made an error though no apology of course but in this instance I forgive them

Well that's the season ticket paid for but I still think the HMRC are a bunch of ***** who try and penalise those who actually graft for a living rather then concentrating on the benefit scroungers out there

MORE IMPORTANTLY - How did you like Cyprus (assuming you book up to go there)

nice one isles....im with you on the hmrc debate mate......i have moirders with the weasel eyed plebs!!!....dont get me started on the vat man either:rage:....i was refunded 5700 few weeks back and few days later they wanted it back:angry:

Don't cross the VAT man. I hate dealing with them every three months.

Loved it mate and took some sound advice from you and others on here and ended up in Paphos which we both really loved

For those who intend going out there then I have to recommend Strategic Airlines who I had never heard of before but they are a small Australian company apparently and we got flights for less then £100 return each and they were excellent with great flight times as well

Glad you liked it fella. Mind if I ask you what was your flight times and which airport you flew from? We always fly BA from T5 as it's always a 8.55am flight which arrives 3pm ish.

Was expecting a little one myself & ended up getting £1800. Helps when your accountant is an ex tax inspector who's been banged up for fraud!! I kid you not.

Glad you liked it fella. Mind if I ask you what was your flight times and which airport you flew from? We always fly BA from T5 as it's always a 8.55am flight which arrives 3pm ish.

Flew from Gatwick mate at 10am and got a 5.25pm flight home which landed at 8.20pm for less then £100 with TravelRepublic
