  • Dos Santos

Apologies if already posted. He would be awesome - along with the eight or so other Spurs squad players we have been linked with.

Any more truth in this than any of the other rumours (we must be approaching double figures now...)?

    QPR Keen On Tottenham Youngster

Newly promoted Loftus Road side keen on White Hart Lane attacker.

Qpr are reportedly interested in Tottenham playmaker Giovani Dos Santos as the boss Neil Warnock looks to make additions to his newly promoted side. The Mexican international youngster has failed to break into the White Hart Lane first team and may well be interested in a move across London to Loftus Road.

The former Barcelona man has spent most of his three years at the North London club out on loan. The talented attacking midfielder has enjoyed successful loan spells at Ipswich Town, Galatasaray and most recently Racing Santander.

Giovani is currently on international duty at the Gold Cup where he has impressed Qpr scouts during Mexico’s two 5-0 successes, during which the Tottenham man has netted twice.

The pursuit for Giovani however is not seen as a means to replace much wanted Moroccan international Adel Taarabt but more a move to bring more creativity and top level experience to the Super-Hoops side.

Harry Redknapp is looking to reduce his expansive Tottenham squad so would presumably have no issue with Giovani leaving given that the 22 year old has made just two Premier League starts during his time at the club.

If you read all the Tottenham fans comments under the original thread most are distraught by the news - seem to really rate him. Say how exciting QPR would be to watch next season with him and Tabs. If they knew how unlikely it was we would dip into our pocket they might relax more.

I have a feeling that Sir Neil will tell those guys, who are internationals, 'look we can't pay you, but we will play you, if you stay at Spurs/Chel/Arsenal you'll be on the bench, which does your international career no good, so play for us for a year, how bout it?'

I wouldn't want Vela and this is definitely the 1 we want. Looked far superior to Vela in the world cup.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Hey Weare! Good to have you back.

Agree with all above comments - would be a real coup and make us a v exciting team. Dos Santos or Morrisson? Can't even talk of them in the same breath.

                      Thanks mate.

Yeah not a big fan of morrisson and I can't see him actually getting in, as Holt does his job better.

Would love him at LR. top player, and proved it on the world stage last summer. Can play up front, off the main striker, or even out wide (in a attacking 3).
