Why do they want rid of F1. have the figures been that bad. It's been the best F1 season in ages dont want to go back to ITV and the constant adverts

Did not say BBC want to get rid but renewal up and BBC could not afford to go into bidding war with ITV who take what has good viewing figures and fu*k them up.

The journalist in question apparently worked on the Panaroma expose of FIFA recently!

This is just what I've passed on I don't know if its related. All I know is that this came from the journalist himself. A family member was there thats why I know its not rubbish. They heard this a couple of weeks ago but went away on holiday the next day and have just seen this thread and it jogged their memory of what they heard.

Not beyond belief considering the Beeb are in Shepherds Bush to encounter a journalist in this manner IMO. As I said don't know if its related or that a story will even run but its not beyond the realms of possibility in the wake of the Faurlin trial.

The papers will have a field day this week if true...

This was not a **** take either, just had a phone call about this thread, apparantley a BBC journalist has been investigating QPR's financial dealings and is looking to do a piece on it.

I know we thought it was all over, but does this go back AGAIN to the Faurlin affair?
If it's financial irregularities, could we still have promotion taken away from us?
And why don't the BBC investigate other clubs? -- I can't believe there aren't a few more financial irregularities knocking around, especially in the Prem.
And, most importantly, are the Mittals aware of this, and is this why they have gone from 'loving' the club to walking away from it?

Jeez, why can't we just have a normal club which doesn't constantly raise our blood pressure through incompetence and/or downright fraudulent conduct?
I actually don't know if I could take another scandal.

What amazes me is that anyone is surprised that bad news could well emerge again concerning the club. Most people, in their heart of hearts, must have had fears like this surely? Me, I've just been keeping my fingers crossed for the last few years and will continue to do so and hope for the best. That's just about all we as fans (apart from refusing to renew season tickets/boycotting games-which isn't much of an issue for me in Australia) can do if the **** hits the fan. But then I've always been a pessimist.

Just passing on what I was told, as for these ***** being very happy bunnies I'd pay money to see those smug grins wiped off there faces.

I'm also not surprised Paladini is a hbappy bunnie, he has just got off scot free keeping his job having just cost the club around £1million and earnt a £100k promotion bonus in the process. And FB & BE are fleecing the clubs fans left right and centre whilst sitting on a £90 million pot. Happy Bunnies.....I'd say they are quite possibly swinging from those 50k chandliers right now.

Surely if someone - the BBC is looking into our finances they would have to have the books to look at etc,im sure we wouldnt hand them over for a journo to look at.obviously the league were investigating so had the right to view paperwork.
