Originally posted by W12_Ranger View PostThis was not a **** take either, just had a phone call about this thread, apparantley a BBC journalist has been investigating QPR's financial dealings and is looking to do a piece on it.
The journalist in question apparently worked on the Panaroma expose of FIFA recently!
Why doesn't this surprise me??
I still find it odd that an 80 year old bloke with billions to his name who has no interest in football and a fat Italian wanted to buy us. They have made more than enough money in their careers.
We still don't even know who the new chairman is!
And yet Paladini once again saves his career despite being implicated in the Faurlin affair...........something just doesn't add up!First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

This is just what I've passed on I don't know if its related. All I know is that this came from the journalist himself. A family member was there thats why I know its not rubbish. They heard this a couple of weeks ago but went away on holiday the next day and have just seen this thread and it jogged their memory of what they heard.
Not beyond belief considering the Beeb are in Shepherds Bush to encounter a journalist in this manner IMO. As I said don't know if its related or that a story will even run but its not beyond the realms of possibility in the wake of the Faurlin trial.

If BBC have investigated us I can't see anything they can come up with that most newspaper have not come up with yet. If there is big news on the owners at our club then will not just have impact on us but F1 one too. I can't see BBC doing anything that may put problem for them renewing F1 this year.
