  • Pete -quick question re Mittals

    Pete,

Youve seem quite confident for last 3 weeks that Amit and co aren't coming back, you also seemed very much against a protest and seemed to think he would feel embarrassed about a protest. You said they won't be back with another bid you know that as a fact, but couple of days later said you recieved a mail from someone working With Amit's sister and Amit was trying to thrash out a deal and was confident he'd be back soon, you then went on to say if you didn't think it was true you wouldn't have posted it. Which is confusing me

You believe they won't be back and they will sell up?

The Mittals almost walked away completely last time we protested. In the end they had a board room meeting with Amit and Ishan being given the opportunity to front and be the face of the club, knowing it would appease fans.

    Not spin, FACT

Bernie and Flavio always had the overall control all the time and made all the big decisions, with Amit and Mittals input.

Amit has many business interests away from QPR and would never be at the club 24-7 and Mittal has already said he would never plough millions into the club. Admittedly we like the prospect of Amit and Mittal taking over.

As for Amit, he is looking forward to watching QPR next season, has no interest at the moment in taking the club over. Not sure where some are getting their info from.

Still think Bernie and Flavio will sell up, plenty of interest from various big businessmen

Pete Amit also owns half a company that loaned the club the money to pay abc off so could never walk away unless he was bought out
What I've heard is there is still ongoing meetings about buying more control of us

        Okay mate.

Quite possible AMIT not telling me because he knows what I am like, if I had a sniff they were still interested, I'd be posting it up everyday

        Guess, time will tell

To be fair many might be saying not sure where you are getting your info from I'm allmost certain you know where moon safari is getting his info from.

So you think It was Ecclestone and fB that went for Warnock and not Amit? As that is probably the biggest decision made at this club in recent times

It was definitely AMit who persuaded Warnock to come.

You can understand why, as we didn't have a great record of managers. Doubt Flavio could haev persuaded him !!

I suspect Warnock like all of us thought They were going to take over, when he signed up.

Saying that last 4 months of season, was pretty much like it had been before he came.

Last 4 months but as I've said to you before they were allmost home and dry with a return on investment! If they started to change things at this point there would be riots and rightly so, moon safari also is adamant that the Mittals funded a lot of January activity!

Do you think that Warnock feels a bit let down by Amit?
