Now Tango and Cash have taken over we have lost out on Graham, Chopra and CMS and Ramage (probably our worst defender) and Helgusson (average Championship player at best) have signed new deals.....the start of things to come I think...

Complete and utter guess work on your part..we bid for graham and he chose swansea over us..we have never bid for chopra so we can't loose out..as far as i know CMS has gone no where yet..Ramage is a good defender and and as a player with prem experience so worth keeping on also the same goes for helgusson.

But still lets not let the facts get in the way of a chance to trash the club...there may be a job for you at the Sun.

We were never after Chopra.

Last season we missed out on Walters in the same way this season we lost out on Graham.

Okay, have a pop but its important to get facts right.

For what it's worth, a very good source and old friend who I trust has told me that NW is finding it very difficult to get any deals sanctioned by those on high. Not surprisingly, he is a tad peed off with the situation. However, if needs be, he is more than prepared to go into the season with the current squad in which he has great faith.

Nothing earth-shattering really and similar things have been said by other people but just thought I'd share one of the few bits of info that comes my way.

Ramage is a very poor defender, in fact I've never seen one player kick the ball out of play so much. I'll have money with anyone on here that Helgusson will not score 10 goals in the Premiership.

As for signings Danny Graham did not choose Swansea over us, Swansea matched Watford's valuation. We didn't, simple as that. I included Chopra as I think he is an affordable player with genuine experience at the higher level. CMS from what I've heard is off to Wigan.

I'd be amazed if we sign anyone of note. One thing this club continually does badly is act late. We need to get in now to secure the better players. Personally I think Caarew would be a great signing for us, basically a bigger, stronger, more dangerous better version of HH and would suit our style.

Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony has dismissed reports claiming Wigan have made an offer for Craig Mackail-Smith.

Using his Twitter account, MacAnthony wrote: "Keep hearing Wigan in for Craig but no bid as of yet. They better hurry up to be honest."

Maybe you should tell the wigan chairman who your source is!

Chopra has had his day, I think -- he wasn't really setting the world on fire last season and wouldn't last 5 minutes in the Prem.
CMS would be making a two division step up, when he didn't really cover himself in glory the last time he stepped up one division into the Championship.
Graham is the one real loss (although he still can't sign until July 1st) but they are paying a lot for a player who has had one good season and is unproven at Prem level.

If NW is prepared to trust his players (who did incredibly well considering the impact that Faurlingate had on them -- that only really became obvious how much bad effect that had after it was all resolved) then we have to do the same, and those of us who can afford to go to games need to make as much noise as possible to get behind them. I don't think we saw them at their best for the last 3rd of the season, which is very understandable, but think back to the first third of the season -- those performances would rack up points even in the Prem.

We need to stop wringing our hands and just get ready to get behind the team -- 'cos it will be tough.
