  • Sulley Muntari Not Ruling Out Move To QPR

    Muntari keeping options open
    Midfielder intrigued by QPR speculation

Sulley Muntari is refusing to rule out a move to Queens Park Rangers after seeing his loan spell at Sunderland come to an end.

The midfielder made the move from Inter Milan to the Stadium of Light in January on a deal that could have become permanent in the summer.

However, the Black Cats opted not to pursue such an option and Muntari admits he was disappointed with their decision.

The Ghana international, 26, is now waiting to see what opportunities come his way after being linked with several other clubs.

He would be prepared to return to Inter and fight for a place in the team, but is also open to the idea of staying in England.

Newly-promoted Queens Park Rangers have been credited with an interest in Muntari and the former Portsmouth man is intrigued by the speculation.

"I would have loved to stay with Sunderland," he told skysports.com.

"I love the Premier League but do not forget I belong to one of the biggest clubs in the world.

"QPR? Why not, it will be a start. I have done it with another good English manager at Portsmouth.

"We even won the FA Cup, so you never know."

Wow an actual quote directly from a player himself.

Would be well happy with that. Strong athletic midfileder who would cope well in the Premiership.

    Yes please.

A start? Bit of a patronising way to talk about potential employers.

Bit of a random article ain't it?! Never really heard his name being linked with us, and not an amazing player but I'd take him.

              Some people are so touchy

For the record, would be a top signing but he must be on big big money at Inter?

Don't think it was meant in a derogatory way Benny.

He won't be short of offers that's for sure. Would be a big signing for us. Proper powerhouse.

Not doubting that mate, but I can't stand that sort of talk. Even if it's directed at another club. As a pro, you need to be more careful how you choose your words as like you can see, it's easy to get peoples backs up. Even if you know the score, ie Taarabt, you don't need to be told publicly that your nothing but a stepping stone.

No doubt he'd be an amazing signing, but common courtesy doesn't go amiss, does it?

That's me with QPR, and I doubt that'll ever change.

agent generated speculation to get the players name in the paper

wages would be too high and he is not consistent, if we are going to spend on that sort of wages we need a player that will deliver week in week out

He was obviously asked if he would go to QPR. Don't mean he will !!
