  • How disjointed will the atmosphere be next season?

I think it will be ****ed well and truly, fans moved along again with ST price hikes.

Lose the first few games and the crowd could play a big part in sending us down the way things are. Fans will not accept £10 million spent on transfers, paying the same prices as teams spending 5, 10 times that.

So don't start stating 'we should be enjoying ourselves, this is the PL' clap trap when it happens....not looking forward to flushing a grand down the drain at all this season, so ****ing demoralising.

personally don't think fans will ever be pleased, take last season, winning the league but our away games had the best atmosphere.
I think the home ground in away reminds fans of the shafting they are getting.

I agree with a lot of that.

The club should want the fans who have stuck with the club for years to enjoy the good times, back in the Prem. If we don't start well and don't buy any good players, then I think we'll go down and we'll start to lose even more fans. And it will be left to us to pick the club up again when Flabbio and Bernie sod off.

Warnock seems intent on making cheap signings which just won't work in the Prem. We need quality. Warnock's record in the Premiership is not good.

I can see many problems next season to be honest.

if we booed players in irrevelant games like Bristol City, whats it going to be like if we are 1-0 down to say Swansea or Wolves in the premiership?

Plus, whether we like it or not families and fans are bing priced out and this brings into play the "Gloryhunter" or fan who simply lives in London and wants to watch say manchester United.

I don't think Premiership is going to be what its cracked up to be.

Only time (which is a negative) where the place will be terrific atmosphere is if we are a couple of games to go, needing to win a game to stay up. Have a a feeling genuine fans will pitch up for these and the so called gloryhunter won't bother, having given up around January.

Have Burn and Flab any idea of the bad feeling there is towards them, they won't be enjoying themselves much, surrounded by angry overcharged punters, when/if we're getting spanked by all comers.

                    w12ranger,

Totally agree. Lets just say we are bottom 3 come November? Place won't be great to visit.

The fact is Warnock holds the upper hand in all of this and in quite a powerful position without really realising it.

He goes, than the fans will really turn and it will be uphill for any new manager.

You have to give credit to Pardew and Hodgson last season who really did turn it around (especially Hodgson), but with our aspirations are purely to survive and we have a board which are widely disliked. They will definitely get the brunt of the fans anger if we go a few months without winning. (maybe even a few games)

People (away fans & managers) always talk about this mythical amazing atmosphere at LR because you are 'close to the pitch' personally I think our atmosphere is crap 75% of the time at home, people don't sing & when others try & get a bit going they get looked at like they killed a kid.

Imagine next season watching a weak team (one of the very weakest in the PL) getting pasted after people have done their #### on ST's.. Ouch.

As you said won't take long at all for the doom & gloom merchants to pipe up putting even more pressure on the team & Neil Warnock.

Think we will be surprised players that might come in.

For example thought no chance of Kyle Walker on loan, but it might actually happen.

It ain't Warnock intent on cheap signings!! What's he supposed to do , we have about 12 mil to sign 6 players needed, and everyone else outbids us!
