The Norhern Ireland U-21 international bagged 8 goals in Torquay's 2010-11 campagin, having arrived at the club from Accrington Stanley, where he scored 9 goals the previous season. I can verify this -- Messi played for the same boys' club as Alli Faurlin and Faurlin has basically sold the idea of playing under NW to Messi.
