you assume away fans are happy to pay £50-75 to come to qpr??
i doubt bolton, bburn, wigan fans will be raving
the big clubs yes cos they need their loyalty pts for european finals and such like
anyway why worry about sodding away fans?
what about the many loyal qpr fans priced out!
I think you are all kidding youseleves aint you......?
We will sell out nearly every game because...we only have 9-10k season tickets and they will be gone by poeple coming out of the woodwork.....
that leaves about 7k seats to sell in a capital city of 22 million people and tourists...!!!
things to do for tourists in London No1 - see a premiership game
Also a large part of our crowd have never seen us in the top flight, div 1 or the prem...thats basically everyone under 21 yrs old..so they will go
As for away fans...our "little ground" will be a novelty, a 1st time visit and a good excuse to go to london for the weekend whilst ticking of another ground.......
So basically i think we willsell out nearly every game. for example; I'll be back in the uk in October nd I WILL pay whatever the price is, to see Rangers in the premiership..there a thousands more like me abroad
Bernie and flav are rich for a reason....they know they can sell 9k premier match tickets every week in london..i reckon i probably could !!!
THINK ABOUT IT...YOU KNOW I'M RIGHT !!!!!....PROBABLY?
Think the club will throw in a teaser, offering you a big game with a lesser game a little cheaper, what do you think?
I think Norwich will sell out as it was one of the few fixtures last season at LR that sold out and was very early on in the season, we tended to only then sell out games at the tail end. I therefore cannot see how an equivalent Premiership fixture will not sell out even if prices are high.
As said by another poster Wolves have a big following and I think that too will sell out plus I think Swansea will sell out on the basis that both sides will think this is a possible win in a season where it's going to be difficult to get 3 points. I think our game last season against swans was 16k so cannot see any difficulty in another 2k turning up.
I agree Wigan, Blackburn, Bolton may not sell out if not on a Saturday at 3 but still think it'll be a 16000 gate even if midweek or sunday. Out of those 3 Blackburn are probably the best of a poor 3 away following and on occassions can surprise but i accept unlikely as the team is S*^%.
I just think we'll got to get used to alot of away fans in our ends plus neutrals, it was actually like that the last time we were in the premiership.
I think the hardcore of 8 to 10k R'sss will turn up to all game as we always have plus fans rejoining or new fans, this will imho give the club about 12 to 14k base figure- another 6 to 8k including away fans to fill the ground is going to happen in most cases imho.
