for me its because when i was very young aged four my dad took me to loftus road, and as a child i didnt really understand what football was all about
but i loved the vividity of the green pitch contrasting against the beautifull differant coloured shirts
i loved the sound of exitement, when qpr scored, the shouts of
ROASTED PEANUTS,......................COME OFF IT REF..................PENALTY
.............BEDFORD WHAT ARE YOU DONUBG MISSING FROM THERE YOU NEED SHOOTING.............and of course the darling of the crowd was mark lazarus
and as i watched them ,i was trully amazed at the magnificence of rodney marsh
the first tears i shed was in the 1966 league cup final,me and many qpr fans were so very sad at losing 2-0 at half time we all cried our eyes out
then watching in amazement as qpr unbeleivabley a little third division team beat a team from the premit was just a miracle
i can remember all the children that lived near me marching home walking through wembley all singing our hearts out
this was before hooliganism so the fans didnt fight,WOW WOW WOW
then as we go to 1968-69 i watched every home match and we lost all but four of them i can still remember how we beat she wed ipswich stoke and forest.
but even watching qpr getting beaten all those times i never for one minute doubted my love for them
it was just so fantastic
then i watched the purchase of big phil parkes,he was bought for 15 000 from walsall,i watched ian gillard and dave clement comming up through the juniors
i saw the gifted gerry francis playing center forward away at oxford,i knew i was watching the development of a great side, but i never dreamed they would almost win the prem, they in fact finished second
looking back on that side is so amazing
but then another great era came with the greatest ever manager TERRY VENABLES
what a manager he was,he could do everything bring brilliant youngsters through from the juniors he could purchaes players of the calibre of gregory and fenwick,he could do it all he was the midas man
in his first season he didnt do much as he was rebuilding,in his second season he got us to our first fa cup final,in the third season he got us promoted and in his fourth seasson he got us to fifth in the prem
i can say the millenium was very emotional, and now up to current times we have the amazing neil warnock
THATS WHY I LOVE QPR
For me it's the area, the boozers, my seat and our kit. Win lose or draw, I always have a top day.
Agree with all of that, doesn't make it any easier to be constantly **** on by the owners though.
Now I used to love my old flat, great area, good transport links for work, etc. But the Landlord was a **** constantly wanted to up the rent, not willing to do any work on the place and totally ignored any complaints.
Finally I moved to an other place. Can't do that when it comes to QPR, but sometimes I am sorely tempted.....

well it dosnt matter what the owners say while we have neil warnock we can become great again
Come on Weavie, do you really believe that. The owners are raking it in, but you have to admit we need to spend a bit if we are to have any chance in the Prem.
They are supposed to be top businessmen, surely they can see that......

yes i do beleive while we have warnock we will survive the prem money cant buy success, its all about the dressing room atmosphere look at holloway he nearly held onto the prem last season and he had the worst squad ever assembled
an yet when the turnip glen roeder took west ham down, that west ham team was the best ever team to get relegated from the prem ,they had internationals all over the place you ask hammer what players they had
