  • Kyle Walker to QPR

It is on Page 66 of today's Sun

KYLE WALKER is set to go back on loan to QPR for next season.
The 21-year-old Tottenham defender, highly rated by England chief Fabio Capello, had a spell at Loftus Road during the first half of last term before moving on to Aston Villa. Walker had planned to return for another campaign under Gerard Houllier. But with the Frenchman no longer at Villa Park, the player wants to link up again with QPR boss Neil Warnock.

If Harry doesn't have him as first choice right back next year then it hardly bodes well for England should he become manager next year.

This guy is top class, and clearly could be a mainstay for years to come, but if he loans him out again, he's clearly not prepared to give youth a chance... So if he were to become England manager Lampard et al will remain in the team indefinitiely...

I think you'll find walker had a nightmare in quite a few prem games last season against top opposition, while looking world class in the championship.

Most commentators I heard said he was great going forward, but cant defend. He's still streets ahead of anything we have, but tells you why harry keeps loaning him out.

Read that Redknapp likes him, and will play him, bale and him will be a right handful.

Sorry if already posted , but if so i cant find it.
The sun ( yeah i know !), say that mr Walker could be on his way back to us, on a one year loan deal. Prob bull but the thought of it cheered up my lunchtime read today.

Apparently he is exchanging contracts on a place near Harlington before 5pm tomorrow and is a done deal, but things change in football.

He is also on the team bus as we speak.

He would be a great loanee, terrific last season for us plus he did well for Villa
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles
