  • Grow up....the lot of you

For years we feared the complete breakdown and loss of QPR.

Now we are in the effing Prem with financial backing.

Nothing will ever break me and my bond with QPR. My love for this club goes beyond all this nonsense.

My message tonight is lets rise above these issues and remember what QPR really means to you.

As for all the controversial posters....keep them coming...thats what an effing football messageboard is meant to be.

Good night and happy hoop dreams

and lets be honest - the price had to go up one day. it won't go up another 35% the following season.

Scarlet, normal negative posters are out in their numbers but you certainly can't be called one. What is it that's changed your view? Season ticket prices, matchday prices or fact that dwarf and mate are still around?

Because were being Pii$$ed on by a billionair for money i might as well lie down and let those two farkers pi$$ all over me.
Its nothing short of a disgrace to treat loyal fans as they have.

But its ok cos its in the name of QPR.

Season ticket prices aren't that bad though. 34 quid for silver seat in the prem, is alright in my book. However, I think loyal fans (who are non-season ticket holders and non-members ie. can't buy a season ticket) have been shafted though.

James do you realise how much money the owners of our club are going to get over this coming season.

No. Personally, I just want to enjoy the summer and look forward to new season. I don't like the dwarf or his mate. But I also think that we've been naive (some of us) in trusting the Mittals (wish I could work out how to remove the Amit photo). We've all waited far to bloody long to get to the prem. The ground's going to be packed next season. Let's bloody make sure it's full of proper fans rather than the supporters flavio wants.

In my opinion the price increase is wrong especially when financially its a lot harder for many people nowadays. I dont want to be some billionaires plaything and these #####s are out of touch with the real world. The profit from the ticket increase dont stack up when you measure it against the discontent amongst fans and I said it earlier, at the moment I wont be renewing my ticket...the bond isn`t broken but the current state of affairs does leave a bitter taste.

                          Spot on.

I am mot talking about the ST prices (they are high and QPR should not be compared with the big three London clubs), but not too excessive.

However, in the current financial climate and with people losing their jobs or getting pay cuts (pay freeze with everything else going up amounts to a cut), a 35% increase is uncalled for. Even worse when you take into account that QPR's TV income will increase 10 fold. The increase will raise around £4M, which is really not worth the hassle and risk of losing fans. It's not as if QPR will go on a £25M spending spree and need to raise the extra £4M.

A more modest increase would have raised around half of that anyway, especially with nearly all games sold out.

T&C are just being greedy barstewards.

If you don't renew it, someone else will take your seat. Have you waited this long not to see your team in the prem?

I'm not sure I agree with the fact that they should just spend money. As has been pointed out, they're not fans. We've been loss making for ages. Someone has been ensuring we're a business that can continue going. I'd rather we spent within our means so that when the owners do leave we won't be up the creak like man city or chelsea will be soon.

Look i can afford the st as i have saved all summer, but not only have they whacked £s on us st holders, they are capping the numbers so's they can hit other fans who cant afford an st with prob 75% increase.

That will bring them in an extra 2mill o so, it's a pi$$ in the ocean compaired with the £50mil coming from tv right's, live screening, new shirt sponsers.

James 2mill is nothing to them yet they are going to fleece the fans for it.
