Look, I'm not saying I agree with the increases be it season ticket or matchday prices. It's a big increase for both. But these seats will be taken by someone. I want them to be filled by rangers fans not the likes that flavio wants. Let's face it, we can't do anything about the board. You can protest in anyway you want, it won't change a thing. What we should do is still go to the games next season, because if you don't flavio will have won. Even if it is to be one season in the prem, let's make it one the likes of gareth barry (and the other muppets) won't forget.

Yeah they will fleece us because they know there are plenty of takers (lets hope they`ve got it wrong) and will carry on regardless because they dont give a toss. Supply and demand of the boutique market is all they`re interested in. I hope they come unstuck soon or better still sell up and sling their hooks.

Prices are ridicilous and I feel for fans running on very tight budgets. However, I suppose the extra ticket revenue will go to the total budget, being invested in the playing staff, Academy development, stadium development etc - it makes it all easier to accept.

I'm not sure I agree with the fact that they should just spend money. As has been pointed out, they're not fans. We've been loss making for ages. Someone has been ensuring we're a business that can continue going. I'd rather we spent within our means so that when the owners do leave we won't be up the creak like man city or chelsea will be soon.

I know QPR have been making a loss for ages, but these prices will not raise that much anyway.

£4M maybe, but as I said earlier, a reasonable rise would have ensured sell-out crowds and raised gate receipts by about £1.5M anyway. But QPR's TV income is going up from £4M to £40M and with extra revenue from sponsorship etc, what is the point of an extra £2.5M in gate receipts when it will drive away loyal fans, possibly forever.

Problem is you see other clubs doing their fans a favour and rewarding loyalty, we do the opposite, and for a core support who have spent 15 years out of the top flight, watching the madness of the prem from the outside its clearly just a kick in the teeth. Inevitably most will renew. It's just the negitivity it creates, One decent damn signing and everyone will pipe down.

I don't think the tickets will be bought by other 'fans'.

Where and why will these new rich 'fans' want to watch QPR?

It isn't as if T&C will provide funds for a big spending spree to try and buy top players (not that they will be drawn to a newly promoted club playing in a tiny stadium anyway.

I genuinely think we'll fill the stadium next season for all games. We have a massive fan base......just a shame so many have been dormant for a while.

Think we should wait on player front. Norwich have signed a few but personally think they're strange signings. Are they better than what they have? Not sure they are atall. At best equal with what they have. Swansea....yeah would have liked Graham but if the Campbell rumour is true then I'd pick him every day ahead of Graham. Nothing by mid-July.....I'm with you though.

I have seen lots of promotions with this club, and at no time in the past did we the fans ever have to worry that the club was going to shaft us like the lot we have now.

Someone posted on this thread, at least they wont put the prices up by 35% next year............be afraid be very afraid this lot dont give a shoit, money is king for them.

People aren't renewing out of a thing called principle, which some people still possess.

Its not necessarily because they cant afford it, more because:

                          a) They believe the increase is extortionate, based on lack of transfer activity so far, as well as the current economic climate.

                          b) On the principle that Little and Lard have at worst lied and at best been disingenuous over the reasons given for the price hike.

                          c) The obviously blatant contempt with which they treat the life-blood of the club i.e. the long-term and loyal fan base.

                          All just my opinion

Support for the last third of the season was definately different with many new faces, neutrals and tourist types. These spectators are going to fill the gaps along with many of the diehard fans who will renew / pay on the day etc regardless of the current situation.

Problem is Little and Lard are not in touch with the fans.

                              Thats a really big issue.

If Amit was in charge and we struggled, we would probably respect him back for his efforts.

Reality is fans will take up season tickets, but it won't all be the ones who have followed the team thorugh the bad times.

They really don't care who pays. Football though is in a different age, long have gone watching players like Francis and Bowles and being packed in like sardines to watch them for 5p a game.

If you get in a cab you will come across cabbies who support Arsenal and Spurs and they can't afford to go and they earn a fair wedge !!

£100 for an adult and child to go and watch Rangers is OTT for a single game. (if you add in programmes and something to eat)
