I am actually starting to feel a bit sorry for Gianni now.

He is getting on a bit, I am sure that the attack on his wife last year hit him really hard, and as was stated at the FA hearing he “…tends not to be a finer-detail person.”

IN many ways Gianni reminds me of my late Grandfather. Towards the end he was losing it a bit and tended to spend a lot of his time telling all and sundry his whole life story. Thank God he wasn't responsible for contract negotiations at a Premier League football club.

Also it is funny that from time to time Paolo Sousa seems to pop up on this board. In many ways it seems to be a subset of Godwin's Law (in fact I am thinking of calling it Wozza's Law).

Now I don't know if that was actually true or just Scott being Scott. But if it is it has managed to do two things I never thought possible.

1 : It has actually raised my view of Scott (although he still takes crap penalties).

and

2 : It has proved that my previously low opinion of the Donut was correct...
