  • Will we stay up with the same squad that walked the Championship?

We seem to be falling behind Norwich and Swansea in the transfer market and for a lot of people this is already a huge concern. Are we better than Blackpool going up last year and is the gulf between top of the Championship and bottom of the Prem about 12 million in players?

So, if we add no players, will we stay up??

            Not impossible, but probably not.

But even with all the gloom on here, it's a pretty unlikely scenario!

You need to just accept that we will have the same team as last year with 4 or 5 average additions. Thats the way it was always going to be with these owners as thats how they do things and the extra money for tickets is to watch the top players on the visiting team. Pointless worrying or moaning about it, because it won't change.

I might get slaughtered for this, but I do think that the players who won the league last season deserve a lot more respect than they're getting on here.
It seems that they are being written off, and everyone is desperate to see most of them binned, in favour of new shiny, sexy signings.

We do need to strengthen, but it's all way OTT, some of the comments about how we are doomed if we don't buy X Y or Z players.

I'm not mental or blind. We do need more up front, we do need some pace added, but this is not a sh*t team.
And they deserve far more credit, and far more respect than they're getting on here.
Maybe my "problem is" I'm still very proud of them all for what they did a few weeks ago, and that hasn't worn off yet.

Reading managed to stay up in their first year without adding to the team.

But then they did win the Championship with a record points total the year before. So maybe they didn't need anyone. They had good strikers in Kitson, Doyle, Lita and Long.

Can the Rangers stay up with our current squad? I think we need 1 or 2 new additions. We don't need to make massive changes.

But whatever Swansea and Norwich do shouldn't concern us at all. They are not buying top drawer players. We need to just sign 2 or 3 players of high quality. Let Norwich and Swansea keep going with the quantity. You can only play 11 lads each week. They are not exactly buying exceptional quality. People should stop comparing us to them and stop worrying about what they do.

We do need a striker or two. Everyone knows that.
But on the whole, I agree with that.

Clint Hill will walk the Prem.

Pardon me, He is actually my favourite player.
