Hmmm. Is this really a thread about Bernie, Flav etc or a question about how great it was for a certain individual to bring them to this club and how he should be applauded for that "because they saved us"?
Sorry, we all know how important it is for him to be seen as popular - and to shamelessly use this board as a vehicle to gauge fans opinion of him - but, if he really wants to be popular, he should resign.
Perhaps you can get that back to him? Thanks.

I'm popular like cucumber was last week and beansprouts are this week.
I certaintly don't do it for popularity, I do it because I believe in things so strongly.
To answer the question, think we would be like a Wycombe Wanderers/ Orient without the financial inputALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

Well we'd have a united and loyal fanbase in a lower division and probably paying rent to some faceless corporate gimp (has that last bit really changed?)
There would also be less freeloaders, less johnny come late us or ****dogs sucking at the gravy which will eventually come back to haunt the fans ( of every club bar a few by the way)
QPR will always survive because it is engrained in the lifeblood of a hardcore group of fans, you push those fans to the edge at your peril but always know those self same fans can be a bunch of suckers a lot of the time!
In summary - bollix to em all!!I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

i'll throw this one in and no doubt get mullered for it!!!
For me the fans are what make this club. Not even what league we're in. The best laughs and times i had were when we were in league 1, or the first couple of years in the championship, yeah the football werent all that at times but i felt part of the club, 100 times more than i do now!
When you meet another QPR fan anywhere, you'll generally know of the same people, from the same areas etc etc. Do you think many Chelsea, Arsenal, man utd fans have that kind of solidaratory?? some might, but not as a club. This club will lose that to an extent. Thats the price you pay when you become popular.
I just find it unbelievable that a board of OUR club can show such disdain to its supporters. When was the last supporters group meeting??
Also Pete, i dont have any axe to grind with you and think you get alot of unfair stick but to compare us to Leyton Orient or Wycombe is ridiculous. You went to away games when we were in league 1 etc?? do you think orient and wycombe travel like that?? This club was on its #### financially then, our home support fanatically was up there with anyone. Believe me chelsea would be back down to the 8000 - 15000 crowds if they were in league 1.
Rant over
