Is it the fact that Amit said he will turn up at some games next season?
So Amit is now a fan! Good for him. Doesn't mean that he, and his family, won't consider jumping ship if it is in their best interests.
After all, as you stated little more than an hour after your original post....
How many club owners actually support the club they represent?
Delia at Norwich?
Whelan at Wigan?
Huey at Swansea?
I wonder how many Chelsea games Bernie went to last season?
Amit, his family and their advisors are shrewd businessmen, so I doubt it very much that they don't have other irons in the fire incase the Donut and the Dwarf decide to play hardball.
And, let's look at this from Amits' perspective. If he receives an e-mail from a fan, who is after all well known as the owner of a fan forum and the dripping tap for info from the club, he is hardly likely to state that he is going elsewhere or to laugh at you and say "See Ya Suckers!". Is he?
The one thing Amit has shown us is that he is the only one of our owners who has tried to build positive bridges with the supporters. All the best to him whereever he may end up next season.
