How can anything be a done deal until the window opens officially, absolute B lox. If anyone needs help with neurosis I suggest you contact a local counsellor.
At the moment we are considering matching Swansea's bid. The deal was pretty much done and dusted, but you cannot really legislate for Swansea getting promoted than paying 1 mill over the top.
We will now turn our attention to Robbie Keane, if Graham decides to go to Swansea.
( would say its not a forgone conclusion he will, just yet)..Not sure we will get Naughton, another so called bigger club want him.......
We are looking at Clyne

Pete, if they've already accepted a bid, as we've been led to believe, then we won't have to match their offer. If we have already entered negotiations with the player, it's down to him to decide where to move.
Basically, we've not really been close by a long stretch to agreeing a deal.

U couldn't be further from the truth, but not going to get into this debate
You cant get closer than being signed..........as pete said.....lol.
not were after, or in negotiations, or offered, but actually signed and moved house near to training ground to boot..............fark me thats worse than cheds on the bus.
Pete, leave it out mate. I'm not saying we won't sign him. All I'm saying is that we've not been as close as you've made out. If that were the case, he'd not be talking to Swansea. Not only that, but Swansea would not be making an offer, higher than the one we've had 'accepted'. That's a fact.
Truth is, Graham wanted to talk to us, but I doubt we've had permission from Watford to talk. Let's be honest...if someone has a bid of £2.5m accepted, why would someone else bid £3.5m?
I didn't say he'd moved again. And no you wouldn't need to match it. If the offer has been accepted, and the player agrees, it's a done deal. It clearly wasn't, and he didn't, so it's not.
None of this is 'fact' as I'm not ITK, but it's fairly obvious. We apparently had this sewn up a week ago.

Keep them coming Pete, you run a great board!
What I will say is this 2.5m release clause does not exist, it was Rodgers who signed him for ****ford, he would have known of any such clause and wouldn't bid 3.5.
Robbie is a different type of player to Graham, so can't see how he is a replacement target.
Clyne must be a good player but never showed much against us this season, he looked promising a couple of years ago but not sure he has progressed?
Any truth in the Jenas , Ridgewell, or Williams story?
