Outbid or paying over the odds? 2.5 mil a fair price i would say
prudent piece of non-business - no way is graham worth the 3.5 m that watford have apparently accepted. May turn out to be that if successful in prem, but as yet untried at this level - could go either way for dg. Not worth a 3.5 million gamble imo.

That's as maybe, but Graham's wanted by other clubs too.
As a result, QPR are in an auction for his signature, and if Neil Warnock really wants him, QPR are going to have to either match Swansea's offer, and hope we offer better personal terms than Swansea, or better still, outbid the Welsh, and more or less guarantee his presence at Loftus Rd next season.
Either way, if we fail to compete with Swansea for a player, who I think it's safe to say, is on Neil Warnock's most wanted list, then we do have a problem.
QPR are a premier league side now. We have a manager who is the best we've had for years by a country mile.
Our fans will be paying some, if not THE, highest prices in premier league history.
We, all of us, need the board to back the gaffer.
If they don't, there will be protests, and ignoring us won't be an option for the board, believe me.
It wasn't last time, come to think of it.
We have never used our so-called financial muscle to win a battle for a signature. We will give it the big un' but won't actually push on and do the deal. we will then go for rejects that nobody else is interested in.
Then Flav & Bernie had better invest in some hard hats & ear plugs, because they won't be made to feel welcome at Loftus Rd, not at those prices they're asking us to pay, they won't.
There will be consequences, for their actions. Up to them whether they are good, or bad.

if those "rejects" perform like, say, Kenny, Derry, Hill, and Tarbs then thats fine by me! Who cares if other clubs are interested or not - as long as they perform for QPR.
